This quarter we will be raising money in support of another Potrero Hill institution: The Potrero Hill Neighborhood House (The NABE).
Founded in 1907, The NABE’s original mission was to help immigrants living on the Hill, especially those impacted by the 1906 earthquake. Today, The NABE continues to focus on supporting residents of Potrero Hill and South San Francisco by providing an array of programs designed to increase security for the children, adults, and families most impacted by our changing city and neighborhood.
For every bag of Give Back Blend sold, we will donate $5 toward hiring a Middle School Group Leader for their Education HUB program that supports children and families who struggle to manage online school during the pandemic. To learn more about the The NABE and donate, go to their website at www.phnhsf.org.
The coffees in this blend were sourced from historically underrepresented coffee growers. Though they originate from all different parts of the world, they share a similar story. The coffee is typically grown on small plots of land held in the family as means to survive economically.
Royal Coffee has been our partner in finding these "relationship coffees" and is helping in underwriting some of the costs of this project so that we can raise money for the Potrero Hill Neighborhood House.
$5 from every bag sold goes as a donation to help fund a Middle School Group Leader for their Education HUB program that supports children and families who struggle to manage online school during the pandemic.
This box includes a bag of our Give Back Blend (medium-dark roast), a Farley’s Bandana, and a set of 4 notecards created and generously donated by @sfneighbors.
