These beans are sourced from 551 family-owned farms in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The coffee is produced on famly-owned farms that each average 7 acres of land, and the coffee varietals vary depending on the land where they are grown. We love to support farmer collectives like Cuarta Union because they create opportunities for small farmers to have a fair route to market.
The acidity of this coffee is soft and pleasant, adding to the balance of the cup and allowing you to experience its complexity and sweetness. And be sure to smell the grind before you brew it... delicious!
